Vietnam’s VietJet has inaugurated flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City and Tiruchirappalli, a city in India’s southern Tamil Nadu state.

The route will be operated 3X-weekly. Tiruchirappalli becomes the LCC’s fifth destination in India alongside Ahmedabad, Kochi, New Delhi, and Mumbai. Data provided by OAG Schedules Analyser shows that the route will be the sole connection from Tiruchirappalli to Vietnam.
